![]() ![]() ![]() So right now I am doing the same installer on one of our knock around macbooks to see if I get the same malware reported on a clean install from this installer, to determine if the installer was packed with malware, or it came from their time machine backup that I restored.ĮDIT: Looks like whatever was considered malware was on their time machine backup. However after restoring their data from time machine during setup, on initial login, malware was reported and removed. ![]() I did find a DMG file for catalina on the web and did get the installation done. So could be a temporary thing on Apple's side. Oddly enough, when requesting a list of available installers via terminal, the older versions were listed, but requesting them returned a file not found error. I tried via app store links as well as the terminal commands to download the installer directly from Apple via terminal and nothing worked. I know this, but at least at the moment the app store/links aren't working for anything older than the latest OS release.
